The article titled, “Effect of DICOM Workflow on Electronic Data Management in Ophthalmology” published in pages 31 – 35, issue 1, vol. 2 of “Astrocyte”[1] is being retracted. It has been reported and found that the article contains overlapping text sections from another article titled, “Impact of digital imaging and communications in medicine workflow on the integration of patient demographics and ophthalmic test data” previously published in pages 227-232, issue 2, vol. 122 of “Ophthalmology”.[2] Therefore, on the grounds of duplicity of text, the article in concern is being retracted.
